Nationwide Shipping:

  • We provide nationwide shipping to bring the beauty of carnivorous plants right to your doorstep. Our shipping rates start as low as R70 per order, offering you cost-effective delivery options for your convenience. Simply select your preferred delivery method during the checkout process, and we'll take care of the rest

Collection Option at Strawberry Pot Nursery:

  • If you're in the Centurion area or would prefer to collect your order in person, you're more than welcome to visit Strawberry Pot and pick up your plants. This option also allows you to explore the nursery's offerings and collect your order at your convenience. Just select the 'Pick-up' option at the checkout section and keep an eye on your email inbox for updates as we process your order

Fast Order Processing:

  • We understand the excitement of receiving your new carnivorous plants, which is why we strive to process paid orders within 24 hours. Once your payment reflects in our account, we promptly prepare your order for shipment or collection. This ensures minimal delays and a swift turnaround time for your plant-filled packages

Shipping Methods:

  • To navigate the challenges posed by courier restrictions on live plants and plant products, we utilise various shipping carriers. Our goal is to strike a balance between complying with these restrictions and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of your carnivorous plants. We work diligently to keep shipping costs as low as possible, allowing us to provide you with the most affordable shipping options at the checkout section
  • Please note that our shipping partners operate (collect and deliver) on regular weekdays, excluding weekends and public holidays. This ensures efficient and reliable delivery services that you can depend on

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES

We understand the importance of reliable shipping and keeping you informed about your order's progress.  At Cultivo, we strive to provide an efficient and reliable online shopping experience for all customers no matter where you are in South Africa. To ensure the smooth delivery of your carnivorous plants, we work with external courier services. Here are some important general shipping notes to keep in mind:

  • SHIPPING RATES ➤ Shipping rates are determined by the size of the parcel and are calculated at the checkout section -  Orders over R2000 always ship free.  Please note that our free shipping offer excludes wholesale orders and reseller value boxes and shipping prices are subject to change without prior notice. We constantly review and update our shipping rates to offer you the best possible service
  • SHIPPING, TRANSIT & DELIVERY TIMES ➤ We dispatch parcels on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Transit times between major centers typically range from 1 to 5 days. However, please allow additional time for delivery to regional and remote areas. It's important to note that transit times are based on business or working days and do not include weekends or public holidays
  • PROCESSING TIME ➤ Paid orders are usually processed within 24 hours on regular business days.  Once your payment reflects in our account, we promptly prepare your order for shipment or collection. This ensures minimal delays and a swift turnaround time for your plant-filled packages
  • SHIPPING SCHEDULE ➤Rest assured as we take great care to securely pack your plants to ensure that your plants arrive in the best condition possible.  Depending on the order date, we dispatch orders according to the following schedule:
    • Online order collections from Strawberry pot: Mondays to Fridays within *48 hours
    • Shipping:  Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays according to the following schedule:  
      • Orders completed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday are typically sent on Fridays
      • Weekend orders are sent on Wednesdays, and
      • Thursday and Friday orders are sent after the weekend on Mondays
  • SHIPPING CARRIER RESPONSIBILITY ➤ Once your order is handed over to the courier, we no longer have control over the parcel's delivery process, including address changes or actual delivery times. Each shipping carrier operates on their own schedule and guidelines
  • TRACKING INFO AND DELIVERY UPDATES ➤ For courier deliveries, we provide a tracking number that allows you to monitor the progress of your shipment. If you cannot find your tracking number, please reach out to us, and we'll be happy to assist you. If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, we recommend contacting the courier company directly for further information
  • ORDER STATUS UPDATES ➤ Once your parcel is dropped off at the hub, we will update your order status with the name of the shipping carrier and the tracking number. You will receive an email notification about this update. To access your order status page, simply click on the blue "Track Your Order - Order Status" button at the bottom of any of the order progress emails you receive

Local pickup (Collecting your order from Strawberry pot nursery)
  • Collection details will be provided in the progress update e-mails and we will update your order status as soon as your order is ready for collection
  • Once processed, online orders may be collected from Strawberry pot nursery in Centurion at your convenience
  • The nursery is open 7 days a week and there’s no need to schedule an appointment - once your receive the email notification, head over to the nursery and simply use your name and order number as reference
Courier to your door
  • We make use of 3rd party courier services and charge standard rates - In the event of your parcel requiring a dedicated special trip to deliver the shipment, additional charges may be levied. Examples of special delivery areas include: Mines, Power Stations, Plots/Farms, Military Bases, Game Lodges, Ports/Harbours, Embassies and Consulates. In this instance, you will be contacted prior to delivery
  • HOW TO TRACK YOUR PARCEL ➤ Make a note of the tracking number and click on the relevant carrier image below.  Type the tracking number in the search field and press Enter (Note that it may take a couple of hours for new shipments to show up on their system). For any queries, please follow up with the relevant courier service directly
