- Genlisea Aurea is a perennial corkscrew plant and one of the larger flower species in the Genlisea family
- Much like bladderworts, this corkscrew plant produces clumps with many small, lance shaped leaves in a tight rosette. They bloom year round with large, bright yellow flowers, often in pairs
- As a terrestrial plant, Genlisea Aurea prefer very saturated and warm, peaty soils (even slurry peat) in an area with bright light
