- Nepenthes veitchii is a classic in the hobby! The species is extremely variable in nature and has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. It is also found as a crossing partner in countless hybrids, as the wide peristome is often well passed on to the hybrid. The species belongs to the standard equipment of every Nepenthes collection
- This Batu Lawi form comes from the highlands and shows the typical characteristics of a highland veitchii: a very broad, sometimes striped peristome, which is often green when opening and turns into yellow-brown, a narrow pitcher lid and a bulbous pitcher
- Under the right conditions N. veitchii grows relatively easily and quickly
