At Cultivo we are passionate about plants and we will repot your carnivorous plants into new pots and fresh growing media

All you need to do is to pop in at one of our repotting workshops or drop off your plants at Strawberry pot in Centurion and collect them again a couple days after

EVALUATION & RECOMMENDATIONS:

• We are pleased to provide you with a range of window box planters, nursery pots, mini bogs, and other containers planted to your specifications

• We’re happy to help you choose appropriate plants for your containers with regards to light, drainage and other growing requirements
• These plants will be arranged in an appropriate container with the correct growing media for the species and varieties you are growing

• Repotting into a larger planter can be done throughout the year but may need a couple of days or weeks to acclimatise if done during their active growing season (summertime for flytraps and trumpet pitcher plants). We recommend doing splitting and divisions during winter dormancy (up to mid-September) for plants to settle in quicker and just wake up during springtime in new soil, without much disturbance

SOIL CHANGES & REPOTTING SERVICE:

• Health checks, general maintenance, standard size nursery pots, soil and pest control measures (if needed) are included

PRICING and PAYMENTS:

• Upsizing a planter and soil changes are charged at R25 for plants bought from us during an event or workshop and may be paid with us on the day

• You’re welcome to bring other plants from home and we’ll assist. These jobs will require booking in your plants and a quote - we will send you banking details for an EFT

• Upsizing a planter and soil changes are charged according to the size of standard nursery pots and includes the pot and soil
• 7.5cm - 10cm pots => R65
• 12-15cm pots => R95

• Specialised repotting (ie. Clean ups, splitting, pest treatment etc) and custom planters => Custom rates

DROPPING OFF YOU PLANTS and LEAD TIME:

• The drop off location is at Strawberry pot nursery, 202 Hendrik Verwoerd drive, Centurion
• Please let us know before dropping off your plants so that we can arrange with a dedicated staff member at the nursery to take receipt of your precious plants and keep them safe

• For upsizing, your plants will be ready for collection within 1 to 2 days, specialised repotting within 3-4days and we usually allow 10-14 days for custom containers and mini bogs to settle in depending on the season
• Once your containers are planted you will be notified via whatsapp or email. We are happy to hold and maintain these containers for up to one week after this notification. If containers are left at the nursery for longer than one week after they are ready for collection, a R25 per day maintenance fee will be added to the original cost of potting

Should you want to have your plants delivered, we can arrange so for destinations within a 50km radius of Strawberry pot in Centurion.  This hand-delivery service is available at a rate of R185 per order - please enquire when booking in your plants
