Shipping & Delivery

  • We are extremely busy during the growing season. Kindly allow a maximum of 7 days for preparation of orders.  Lead time on potted plants is 21 days.  Prices exclude shipping / delivery fees and will be quoted upon confirmation of your order.  Shipping arrangements are only made once payment reflects in our account - No COD
  • Orders are sent via courier
  • The shipping and delivery fee largely depends on the destination as well as the volumetric weight (size) of the parcel.  Potted plants will naturally take up more space and will be quoted as such.  Please note that surcharges may apply for delivery to regional areas
  • A tracking number will be provided once your parcel is handed over to the courier company.  Plants will be sent overnight to main centres: Bloemfontein, Cape Town and Durban.  We only use reliable courier services and your parcel should reach you within 1-5 business days depending on your location.  Each carrier uses their own schedule and we cannot be held responsible for delays in courier services
  • All plants are packed and protected to prevent damage during transit

  • Once you receive your parcel, the responsibility is handed over to you.  We strongly urge you to do some research on specific needs of each plant species.  We are always available for guidance, however once you take receipt of your parcel, we can not be held responsible for declining plant health due to incorrect management, lack of light, neglect, water quality, soil conditions etc.
  • After sales service is our priority.  We are available for advice and also offer public workshops and training on carnivorous plant care at your premises. For more information or to book a training date, contact Therese at Cultivo Carnivores ( or on 064 628 9497)
