- This hybrid has long, chartreuse, succulent-like leaves and produces large, bright pink flowers
- Mexican butterworts are fantastic candidates for a sunny windowsill and very popular amongst succulent fans and indoor plant growers. As they are easy to grow, these are excellent plants for beginner carnivorous plant enthusiasts

- These are medium to near-flowering size plants with very shallow roots and fragile leaves. For this reason they will be sent bareroot, packed and protected to minimise damage during transit. The size on offer refers to the maximum size your plant will reach during the upcoming growing season
- Due to it's fragile nature and shallow root system, mexican butterworts are best shipped bareroot (not potted) and will need a certain degree of acclimatisation after potting on your end. Plants and winter rosettes are cleaned, cut back, rinsed and sent in protective covering to minimise damage
- To prevent rot, pinguicula prefers a loose, open soil with a good balance between water retention and drainage. Select the relevant option or pick up some of our deluxe premixed growing media for mexican butterworts here before checking out
- On occasion, plants are available in potted form, however in most cases your plant will be sent bareroot with soil separately - This will be indicated in the listing
- This guideline is provided as reference and is indicative of the current state or condition of the plant you will receive
- During winter dormancy, most mexican butterworts produce tight, dormant rosettes with tiny non-carnivorous leaves, making them appear very small overall. During this time they will be listed as "winter rosettes"

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PLANT
- 🏡 Grow indoors on a sunny windowsill. Supplement with artificial lighting if needed
- ☀️ Minimum 3-4 hours direct sunlight
- 💧 Moist, nutrient-free soil (rain or distilled water)
- 🍴 No need to feed
- 🌷 Leave to flower and take lots of pics!
- 💤 Dormant in winter (Dies back only slightly)
