Best carnivorous plant species to grow in an outdoor setting
Most carnivorous plant species will thrive in this setting, exceptions are species that require special conditions such as pygmy sundews, ultra-highland tropical pitcher plants and sundews in the Queensland triad to name a few
  • Plants are to receive a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight to grow well.  In most cases, the more direct sun exposure the better.  Protect venus flytraps and sundews from the harsh summer sun by shading them during the hottest months of the year.  Grow plants in the sarracenia family in full sun year round for ultimate colouration and strong growth.  Water with distilled water and keep the soil moist at all times
