Pygmy Sundew Seeds – Drosera Gemmae (Fresh Autumn Harvest)

Welcome to the world of pygmy sundews – where nature’s magic unfolds in miniature! These tiny “live seeds,” called Drosera gemmae, are just 1–2mm wide and grow into fully mature insect-eating plants in under a year.

At Cultivo, we offer the largest range of pygmy sundews in South Africa, with fresh gemmae harvested to order each year. This is a limited release — only available for a few short weeks each autumn!

🌧️ As the rains come, these gemmae scatter like nature’s confetti, sprouting within days and forming tiny sundew rosettes with roots that reach out almost instantly. Within months, you’ll have a full-sized pygmy sundew — perfect for terrariums, collections, or growing from scratch.

🪴 Unlike most regular carnivorous plant seeds, Drosera gemmae do not store well. For best results, plant them right away. Each gemma is harvested fresh on the day you order and shipped live, straight from our collection to yours.
