- The Dionaea PROmix is a deluxe carnivorous plant soil blend that is very low in nutrients, taking the hassle out of repotting your favourite bug-munching plantĀ
- We use only top quality ingredients in this mix to create the perfect growing media for growing a happy and healthy venus flytrap
- The ratio of ingredients in this recipe has beenĀ designed to trap and retain moisture while providing sufficient drainage, ultimately creating a stable, friable growing media for your precious carnivorous plant
- Carnivorous plants have adapted to catch and digest their own food, none of our carnivorous plant Promixes contain any artificial or organic fertiliser
Uses
- Ideal for repotting, this is the exact nutrient-free soil blend that we use as a growing substrate for all our venus fly trapsĀ
Size & Packaging
- Premixed, packaged and sold in labeled, resealable packets
- As a guideline, one 620ml packet will be enough growing media to fill:
- 1 x standard 10cm plastic plant pot, plus a little extra should you need to 'top-up' at a later stage,
- 2 x 9cm plant pots,
- 3 x 7.5cm plant pots, and
- 7 x 5cm square pots
- All of our carnivorous plant soil mixes have been washed, but it is always recommended to rinse and sterilise all growing media prior to useĀ
- Just a quick heads-up: Since plants are natural products, you might notice some slight variations when unboxing your plants
- We do our best to make sure the plants you receive look like the ones in the photos, but keep in mind that seasons change and plants grow. Some leaves might age and die off, new ones might sprout and the plants may look a bit different over time
- 99% of what we sell are one-of-a-kind collector items, so you will receive the exact plant pictured. The labels are spot on, so even if the plant looks a bit different, we 100% guarantee it's the real deal
