The tropical pitcher plants in our 'for beginners' range are at least 3 years old (5-7cm) and are available in two sizes. These plants slow their growth during colder months but do not go fully dormant in winter; their foliage remains while summer pitchers die off. Dead or dying pitchers will be removed prior to shipping. New pitchers will develop on new leaves when the plants start growing actively again in springtime
