Grow a vibrant red Cape sundew from seed!

This red-leaved form of Drosera capensis produces striking reddish foliage and tentacles when grown in bright light. It’s similar to the typical Cape sundew in size and care, but offers deeper colour — especially during the cooler months.

Seeds were harvested in Autumn '26 and are batch-tested for germination. No stratification is needed. As these are seed-grown (not clones), colour intensity and leaf shape may vary between seedlings.

Note: Red forms grown from seed will show natural variation. Some seedlings may be greenish at first but develop rose gold to rich red tones as they mature, especially in cooler seasons.
