Drosera capensis (Typical Form) is one of the most popular carnivorous plants for beginners. Native to South Africa, this hardy sundew grows upright to around 15cm, with green leaves and bright red sticky tentacles that curl around insects like nature’s own flypaper. Mature plants produces tall flower stalks with delicate pink blooms.

Seeds are from our Autumn '26 in-season harvest and are batch-tested for viability. No stratification is needed - just warmth, humidity and patience. This species grows well on windowsills, in terrariums, or outdoors in frost-free climates.
