Will this be restocked?
  • At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings
  • Some seasonal items or small-batch variants may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details

Grow heavily veined Purple Pitchers from seed!

This hand-pollinated batch of Sarracenia purpurea ssp. venosa f. heavy veined comes from visually striking parent plants selected for their bold colouration and deep veining. These temperate pitcher plants are ideal for outdoor bog gardens or pots in full sun.

Seeds are open-pollinated from mature, acclimatised stock and have been batch-tested for viability. While each seedling is genetically unique, many will inherit the distinct traits of the heavy-veined parent plants.

  • Hand-pollinated batch from heavily veined parent plants
  • Compact, cold-hardy Sarracenia – ideal for outdoor growing
  • In-season harvest · Batch viability tested
  • Cold stratification recommended for better germination

You’ll receive a digital sowing guide with your order. For the best setup, grab our Seed Starter Kit or book a Seed Starting Consult for personalised help.

Note: These are not clones. Each seedling is genetically unique and may show variation in pitcher colour, veining, and form — part of the fun of growing from seed!
