💬 This is one of our most frequently asked questions — and the short answer is: Nope and Neither... Cultivo is primarily an online store, where you'll find our full range of carnivorous plants, soil mixes, seeds, DIY kits, workshop info and consultations. But… as there is nothing this exciting in South Africa, we’ve teamed up with a few awesome brick-and-mortar stores to bring a slice of the Cultivo experience to walk-in visitors. Think of them as mini Cultivo hubs — curated spaces where you can browse, get inspired, and grab a few favourites in person!

🌸 Marvellous Orchid (Boksburg) – One of our authorised resellers, stocking a seasonal selection of popular beginner plants, carnivorous plant soil and distilled water for quick pick-ups.
🍓 Strawberry Pot (Centurion) – A lush nursery aimed at the outdoor carnivorous grower, featuring a dedicated Powered by Cultivo section with easy-growers for beginners, select outdoor species for collectors, mini savage gardens and small range of our Bug-munching mini's. It’s also home to our seasonal carnivorous plant display garden — a privately owned showcase that evolves with the seasons - ℹ️ What to expect when visiting the show garden
🌱 Please note: The outdoor garden is a display space, not a nursery shelf — and from March onwards, it enters its annual winter clean-up and repotting phase. Things may look a little wild during this time as plants wind down for dormancy, but prep is already underway for the growing season. The garden puts on its best show later in the year, as spring turns to summer.
🪴 In-store shopping at Strawberry Pot is available year-round — during winter, plants are sold as spring-ready dormant bulbs, already repotted and ready to grow. Strawberry Pot is also our official pickup point for online orders.
🌿 Dorry Pets (Centurion) – A specialist aquarium and terrarium shop aimed at the indoor grower, featuring pre-planted carnivorous terrariums, a wide selection of terrarium-ready, rare and collectible plants and hands-on terrarium workshops hosted by us throughout the year.
Our full range (everything you see on the website) is available exclusively online. Each retail partner carries something a little different — so it’s best to pop in and see what’s available.
