💬 We often get asked if Cultivo Carnivores supplies wholesale carnivorous plants to resellers and retail outlets. The answer is yes - but not in the traditional sense.
Unlike large-scale wholesalers who move crates of plants, we’re a boutique grower offering seasonal bulk packs prepared fresh to order. Availability depends on the growing cycle and our collections - which means every bulk order is a little different - and always special.
When Are Bulk Packs Available?
Our wholesale-style bulk packs are released only at certain times of the year and typically include:
- 🌱 Seed-grown plants with unique genetics - one-of-a-kind individuals, not cookie-cutter clones.
- 🌱 Divisions from our private collection – strong, established plants.
- 🌱 Surplus from imports - export-quality stock, fully acclimatised to South African conditions.
This makes our wholesale plants very different from generic nursery stock - they’re rare, robust and carefully prepared.
How Our Wholesale Works
- ✅ Minimum Order: Only 15 plants - a low entry point compared to traditional wholesale.
- ✅ Discount: Save 25% off retail (ie. R195 → R146 each = SAVE R49.00).
- ✅ Mix & Match: This bulk pack includes species and sizes from our Beginner Range - simply mix and match from the available options when you order
- ✅ Bareroot Shipping: Plants are shipped unpotted, with roots wrapped for safe, lightweight transport.
- ✅ Pre-Potted Option: Available at an additional cost for Gauteng deliveries only.
- ✅ Fresh from the Farm: Each bulk pack is prepared to order and dispatched directly from our farm.

How to Order
Our bulk packs are released seasonally and are available to order directly online. Simply select your preferred species and sizes from the current availability - if a plant or size is no longer available, it will be greyed out and cannot be selected.

Please note: Bulk packs are prepared from seasonal seed-grown plants, divisions and surplus imports. Restocks are not guaranteed and availability depends on the growing cycle and our collections.
