This plant ships pre-planted in its 10cm high-drainage pot. The root system stays undisturbed, which is especially important for Cephalotus, as they dislike unnecessary root disturbance. The plant is packed securely to keep the pot, soil and growth point protected in transit.

Growing notes

Cephalotus prefers bright light, excellent drainage and stable conditions. This plant is already fully acclimatised to South African growing conditions and is suitable for a bright windowsill, terrarium, greenhouse cabinet or dedicated grow-light setup with good airflow.

Under strong full-spectrum LED lighting, Wilhelma can colour up dramatically, producing deep purple to almost black pitchers. In lower light it may stay greener, often with larger, softer-coloured pitchers.
