Will this be restocked?
  • At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings
  • Some seasonal items or small-batch variants may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details

Product Details

Begonia darthvaderiana is one of the most sought-after jewel begonias in the world and for good reason. This ultra-rare species is native to the rainforests of Palawan in the Philippines and is instantly recognisable by its jet-black leaves laced with vivid, glowing red veins

This isn’t your average houseplant. It’s a true collector’s specimen with a dramatic presence, slow growth habit and very specific care requirements. It thrives in high humidity, low airflow and warm temperatures - making it ideal for display in a closed terrarium, plant cabinet, or controlled greenhouse setup

Our specimens are well established and growing strong in a 7cm pot with a fitted humidity dome, as pictured. It’s been carefully hardened off and is ready to continue thriving in a stable setup

Only two available - you’ll receive one of the exact plants pictured

Quick FAQ
