- At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings
- Some seasonal items or small-batch variants may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details

Utricularia quelchii (Llu Tepui) is a rare and highly sought-after epiphytic bladderwort collected from the summit of Llu Tepui in Venezuela’s Gran Sabana region. Known for its slow but steady growth and striking flowers, this location form is especially prized by collectors for its origin and rarity.
Like other highland Utricularia, U. quelchii grows naturally in cool, misty environments — often nestled among moss, bromeliads, and epiphytic orchid roots. It produces small, leathery leaves and can eventually send up tall stalks bearing exotic magenta-pink flowers that resemble tiny orchids or aliens in bloom.
This plug comes from our original BCP import and was grown out at Cultivo under high-humidity, terrarium-like conditions. You’ll receive a healthy, fully rooted 5cm plug, ready for your specialised growing space.
