The DECO Planter Set combines a colourful tapered planter with a matching clip-on water tray, creating an attractive and practical home for carnivorous plants, seedlings and small houseplants.

The tapered shape provides a clean decorative look while the matching tray helps catch excess water, making it ideal for windowsills, desks, patios and growing shelves.

This is the same planter and tray system used in our Beginner Range kits, selected for its simple plug-and-play design and ability to help maintain steady moisture while keeping surfaces cleaner and reducing mess.

Each planter measures approximately 11cm across the top and 8cm tall, making it ideal for young plants, rooted cuttings, propagated divisions and compact indoor displays.

Good to Know

Can I use this for carnivorous plants?
Yes. It works well with the tray-watering method used for many beginner-friendly carnivorous plants including Venus flytraps, sundews and trumpet pitchers.

How much soil do I need?
One planter typically requires approximately 500-700ml of growing media. A single 650ml PROmix™ pouch is usually enough to fill one planter with room to spare, depending on the plant and planting depth.

What soil should I use?
For carnivorous plants, we recommend using one of our species-specific PROmix™ blends for best results.

Can I plant a Rootball Plug™ directly into this planter?
Yes. These planters are ideal for Rootball Plug™ transplants. Simply position the plug at the correct height and fill around it with suitable growing media. Need help? See our Rootball Plug™ guide and video tutorial.

Does it include the tray?
