Sundew: Drosera Ascendens
PERSONAL COLLECTION
- Species: Drosera
- Drosera Ascendens is a very rare tropical sundew native to Brazil
- Grown in bright light, it develops a dark red rosette with thick, semi-erect leaves, almost completely covered with sticky hairs

- Special Consideration:
- Although most South American sundews can handle higher temperatures for short periods, Drosera Ascendens grows best in temperatures ranging from 18-24 degrees Celsius during the day, a night time temperature drop and prefers a little higher humidity
- Flowering requires a lot of energy and might cause your plant to lose it's dew - Cut flower stalks when they emerge for a healthier, dewy plant
