Will this be restocked?
  • At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings
  • Some seasonal items or small-batch variants may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details

Grow a rare white form of the Cape sundew from seed!

Drosera capensis var. alba (also known as “Albino” or “White Form”) is a sub-tropical sundew with all the ease of the typical form, but with a twist — it produces clear or pale pink glue droplets instead of the usual red. Its leaves remain bright green, making this a beautiful contrast plant in any collection.

Seeds are from our Autumn '26 harvest and have been batch-tested for viability. No stratification is required. As these are seed-grown, you may see slight variation in colour tone — but most will produce green leaves with clear to very light-coloured dew.

  • White/Albino form of D. capensis – green leaves, pale dew
  • Sub-tropical species – easy and rewarding to grow
  • In-season harvest · Batch viability tested
  • No stratification required

Each order includes a digital sowing guide. For the best setup, add our Seed Starter Kit or book a Seed Starting Consult for expert help.

Note: This is a seed-grown albino form — colour expression may vary slightly, especially in early growth stages or varying light.
