A true collector’s gem - this Heliamphora “Spiderweb” is a selected hybrid of H. chimantensis and H. pulchella, imported from Wistuba, Germany. Notable for its fine red veins forming a delicate spider-web pattern across each pitcher and nectar spoon, it’s supplied as a healthy juvenile in a Cultivo Rootball Plug™ and is fully acclimatised for South African growers

In its wild habitat on the tabletop highlands of the Chimantá Massif, its parent species thrive in cool, misty conditions at elevations above 1800 m. “Spiderweb” inherits that highland vigour - bright, filtered light, cool to intermediate temperatures and consistently high humidity will bring out its richest colours

Expect upright, clumping pitchers that start green and deepen to burgundy-red, each one etched with the signature web of crimson veins. As it matures, new pitchers will intensify that pattern, making this hybrid an ever-evolving showpiece in terrariums, vivaria or cool-room collections
