Product Details

Nepenthes lowii (Trusmadi x Murud) is a sought-after horticultural cross that originated in Europe. Native to upper montane regions in Borneo, it is renowned for its unique feeding strategy - using a sugary exudate on the lid of its pitchers to attract tree shrews and birds and feed on their droppings

To ensure its success, Nepenthes lowii requires intermediate to highland temperatures and a humid environment. Proper drainage is crucial for its health, especially during its younger years, so we recommend using net pots, a live sphagnum topdressing and a growing media mix with a high proportion of perlite or other coarse, well-draining components. Remember to let the soil dry out slightly between waterings for optimal growth

This plant is fully acclimatised and sent potted

Restock Alerts
  • Because Cultivo is a boutique-style store, most of our collector’s plants are one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” or limited seasonal releases. That means once they’re sold, they’re gone - so standard restock notifications aren’t practical here
  • A few seasonal plants or variants of small-batch releases may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details
