- At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings
- Some seasonal items or small-batch variants may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details

About this plant
A rarely offered pure Nepenthes species, Nepenthes pulchra was only described in 2011 from Mt. Kiamo, Mindanao, Philippines.
The name “pulchra” means “beautiful” – and this highland species lives up to its name.
Nepenthes pulchra is a fast grower known for its impressive size and colour. In the wild (1300–1800m elevation), it thrives in mineral-rich soil and prefers intermediate to highland conditions – making it well suited for setups in South Africa.
- Lower pitchers reach up to 35cm – deep red, delicately marbled on the outside with a pale, violet-tinged interior.
- Upper pitchers can grow up to 42cm – long, narrow, and funnel-shaped with a rounded base.
This is a special Wistuba clone (CS01) – a pure species import, now fully acclimatised and ready to thrive in your collection.
