This little stunner is one of my personal favourites. Originally imported from Best Carnivorous Plants in the Czech Republic, this true collector-grade plant has been happily growing here for a while and is now fully settled in for South African conditions. It’s a mature, flowering-size butterwort and a brilliant candidate for anyone wanting to add a unique cultivar to their collection

Can I grow it in a terrarium?

• Yes – it does beautifully in bright artificial light with good airflow. Keep the soil slightly damp, not soaked.

How do I get the best colour out of it?

• Grow it under full-spectrum LEDs or in bright natural light – the stronger the light, the deeper the pink tones become.

• Because Cultivo is a boutique-style store, most of our collector’s plants are one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” or limited seasonal releases. That means once they’re sold, they’re gone - so standard restock notifications aren’t practical here
