Product Details

Grow your own Rainbow Plant from seed!

Byblis liniflora is a fast-growing, sticky-leaved carnivorous plant commonly known as the Rainbow Plant. Native to tropical regions of Australia, it catches tiny prey using sparkling, gland-covered leaves and produces beautiful purple blooms.

This is the easiest Byblis species to grow — no stratification is needed! Seeds are from our Summer 23/24 harvest and have been tested for viability in our in-house setup.

  • Annual carnivorous plant – completes its life cycle in one season
  • No dormancy or stratification required
  • Ideal for warm, sunny windowsills or terrariums
  • Grows quickly and flowers easily in the right conditions
  • Batch viability tested before release

Each order includes a digital sowing guide to help you get started. Want to make it easier? Add our Seed Starter Kit or get personalised help with a Seed Starting Consultation.

Note: Byblis liniflora is a rewarding beginner species, but sensitive to overwatering or cold. Keep warm, bright, and humid for best results.

Restock Alerts
  • Because Cultivo is a boutique-style store, most of our collector’s plants are one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” or limited seasonal releases. That means once they’re sold, they’re gone - so standard restock notifications aren’t practical here
  • A few seasonal plants or variants of small-batch releases may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details
