Will this be restocked?
  • At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings
  • Some seasonal items or small-batch variants may return in the future. If that happens, we’ll update the original listing with new photos and details
  • 🔔 For updates on new and rare arrivals, keep an eye on our New Arrivals Collection or join our VIP list above.

    Our Seeds

    • These are fresh seeds harvested within the last two seasons, and either imported from trusted private growers and nurseries or harvested from our own plants
    • With so many imitations online, all our seeds are genuine carnivorous plant seeds - We guarantee it
    • Starting and nurturing your very own carnivorous plant jungle can be very rewarding and most of the seed available on the store have been tested on germination in our own seedling chamber
    • Growing carnivorous plants from seed takes a lot of patience, most seeds require light and humidity and some are seasonal growers
    • As this process is mostly a waiting game, it is recommended for the adventure carnivorous plant enthusiast
      Sowing Guide
      • Our recommended sowing instructions are available in the FAQ section, however doing some research on required growing conditions, before making your purchase, would be in your favour
      • Tuberous sundew seed is best planted in summer or early fall since these species are winter growing
        • As long as plants are kept cool and get lots of light, they are generally very tough and easy to grow
      • Most tuberous sundews can handle light frost, but temperatures above 25°C can cause them to die back and could be fatal to seedlings
      • From seed, tuberous sundews are best started indoors - maintain a 10°C -  20°C temperature range until you get germination
        • Cycling temperatures between these recommended ranges may or may not improve germination
      • Due to a range of factors we can not guarantee germination, but we can guarantee one of the most important factors with regards to germination rate:  FRESH SEEDS
          • When available the harvest date will be recorded on the seed packet
