Grow your own Purple Pitcher Plants from seed!
This is a hand-pollinated cross of Sarracenia purpurea var. montana (PV19MK x KPC), a cold-tolerant pitcher plant known for its squat, colourful pitchers and slow-growing, long-lived habit.
Seeds were harvested in Summer 22/23 from mature, legally grown parent stock and batch-tested for germination. As with all temperate Sarracenia, these seeds require cold stratification to trigger healthy germination.
