- At Cultivo, every release is carefully selected and grown with purpose. We don’t mass restock - most plants are small-batch, seasonal or one-of-a-kind “exact plant pictured” pieces. Once they’re sold, they’re truly gone. That’s why you won’t see a typical “email me when available” option on these listings

Utricularia fulva (Rockhole, Australia) is a rare heat-loving bladderwort from the Northern Territory of Australia. It grows as a terrestrial or seasonally submerged plant, thriving in warm, sunny conditions and producing spectacular flowers that resemble tiny orange Oncidium orchids.
This species is native to the Kakadu National Park region, where it colonises sandy or peaty soil near seasonally wet rockholes. In cultivation, it prefers warm temperatures, bright light, and a constant supply of water — making it ideal for heated grow spaces, sunny bog gardens, or indoor setups with stable warmth.
Utricularia fulva flowers during summer and into early autumn, sending up upright stalks with bright orange, intricately shaped blooms. While the carnivory happens underground via suction-trap bladders, most growers prize this species for its floral beauty and unique growing preferences.
This is a rare collector’s item. You’ll receive a healthy 2cm plug, fully rooted and ready to pot up in your own warm-growing carnivorous plant setup.
