• With the successful launch in 2021, we decided to join forces with growers and carni connoisseurs around the world to expand the range, now offering you even more carnivorous plant variety in our Cultivo exclusive product - Bug-munching MINI's.  12-18 months and lots of love and dedication is what it takes to grow each of these adorable plants to perfection

The magical mystery

• In true Cultivo style, we always aim for unique (and boutique).  Offering you the very best variety possible, plants in the Bug-munching Mini's - singles per species range are sourced from various suppliers across the globe.  Being mostly seed grown, hybrids are certainly possible (even probable) and it will not be possible for us to attach a specific ID or cultivar name to each species...The one with the menacing teeth is a most definitely a venus flytrap and the one with the sticky, gooey glue? Oh, that is an insect-chowing sundew of course😉
• As always, carni connoiseurs and collectors are at the heart of Cultivo.  Looking for something extra special? Check out Bug-munching MINI's for connoisseurs > The full Bug-munching mini range is now also available with labels....ID's...cultivars...location data...the works!

• Bug-munching MINI's are 1-3cm starter plants and are designed to give you a 1-2 year head start on raising carnivorous plants from seed which in most cases require special conditions plus a bucket load of patience

Why Pargo and not PUDO?

We partner with Pargo because it’s part of our approved fragile-goods courier network. Parcels are kept indoors at local shops and businesses, protected from heat, sunlight and weather until collection — ideal if you prefer to collect at your convenience or aren’t home during the day.

To keep every order safe and uphold our Arrive-Alive Guarantee, we deliver only via Pargo and other approved delivery services trusted for handling fragile and temperature-sensitive items.

• Just a quick heads-up: Since plants are natural products, you might notice some slight variations when unboxing your plants
• We do our best to make sure the plants you receive look like the ones in the photos, but keep in mind that seasons change and plants grow. Some leaves might age and die off, new ones might sprout and the plants may look a bit different over time
• Cultivo is a boutique-style store and 99% of what we sell are one-of-a-kind collector items, so you will receive the exact plant pictured. Some are once-off or limited releases, which means they are available only while stocks last. The labels are spot on, so even if the plant looks a bit different, we 100% guarantee it’s the real deal
• Also, all the photos you see are of our own plants unless we mention otherwise. We update images occasionally to keep things fresh. If you want to see updated pictures before you buy, just let us know - we’re happy to help!
