This scrambling subtropical sundew is a real collector’s gem – imported directly from Best Carnivorous Plants in the Czech Republic, and verified with location data from the Okavango Delta, Botswana. It’s not something you’ll find in just any South African collection, and this exact plant is a once-off release from our collector’s range.

Drosera madagascariensis features elegant, narrow leaves covered in glistening red tentacles, climbing upward on sticky stems to trap tiny insects. Mature plants grow to around 15–20cm tall, making them ideal for terrariums, paludariums, greenhouses, and sunny indoor spots.

As it matures, older stems may naturally lean or die back – often followed by baby plants sprouting from the roots. This self-renewing trait makes it just as fascinating as it is beautiful.
