You've come to the right place

I cannot describe how excited I was to finally find someone who stocks Pinguicula.
I placed my first ever order in mid December and was really surprised to have it delivered before Christmas.
The plants were packaged beautifully, and were just super happy - despite the long transit all the way to Cape Town.
Team, you outdid yourselves - I'm incredibly impressed with your service and the quality of the plants.
Thank you so much!

Bareroot plants: What to expect

  • Due to it's fragile nature and shallow root system, mexican butterworts are best shipped bareroot (without soil) and will need a certain degree of acclimatisation after potting or mounting on your end.  Plants and winter rosettes are cleaned, cut back, rinsed and sent in protective covering to minimise damage
  • To prevent rot, pinguicula prefers a loose, open soil with a good balance between water retention and drainage.  If needed, you can pick up some of our deluxe premixed growing media for mexican butterworts here before checking out

  • This guideline is provided as reference and is indicative of the current state or condition of the plant you will receive
