PROmix Cephalotus™ is made from carefully selected, high-quality ingredients chosen for consistency, purity and performance. Each batch is thoroughly washed to remove mineral residues before blending.

The result is a light, airy substrate that allows water to move through quickly while still holding enough moisture around the roots. This balance is critical for Cephalotus — keeping roots oxygenated while avoiding the stagnant conditions that often lead to rot.

How Much Do You Need?

Each 650ml resealable packet covers:

• 1 × 11cm planter (ideal size for most Cephalotus)
• 2 × 9cm pots

💡 Tip: Always moisten the mix before potting. Use rainwater, distilled water, or reverse osmosis water — never tap water.

Planting Without Root Disturbance

Cephalotus are known for disliking root disturbance. Many plants in our collection are grown in Cultivo’s Rootball Plugs™, allowing you to simply make a hole and place the plug directly into the soil.

This reduces transplant shock, keeps roots stable, and makes repotting far easier — especially for beginners or sensitive plants.

Watering and Drainage — What Matters Most
